Your license

When you buy TallyReel you get a personal license to install and use it on up to two computers that you own or control. It's a one-time purchase with no subscription. You may not resell, share or redistribute your license key or the app.

Refunds

If TallyReel doesn't work for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase by replying to your purchase email. Refunds are issued through Lemon Squeezy, and a refunded license stops working.

Your videos

You own the videos you make. Stock footage comes from Pexels under the Pexels license; follow it where it applies. Music composed by TallyReel and its built-in voices may be used in your videos, including commercially. You are responsible for what you publish, including any facts in AI-written scripts. Review them before posting.

Voice cloning: your own voice only

• Only clone your own voice. Don't clone anyone else's voice, even with a recording of them, unless you have their explicit, documented permission and the law allows it.
• Don't use cloned voices to impersonate people, deceive, defraud, harass, or create content that is illegal or sexual in nature.
• TallyReel asks you to read a consent sentence and checks that it matches your voice sample. Every cloned clip carries an inaudible AI watermark. Don't try to bypass either.
• Follow the rules of the platforms you post to. YouTube, TikTok and Instagram may require you to label realistic AI-generated voices.

AI hosts

• Hosts in podcast and presenter videos are made-up AI people. Don't create hosts that copy or resemble a real person, and don't present an AI host as a real human.
• Label videos with AI hosts as AI-generated where the platform asks you to. YouTube, TikTok and Instagram require it for realistic synthetic people.
• Host portraits made with the Pollinations service are subject to its terms.
• Talking hosts animate a made-up face from your audio. Don't animate a real person's photo, and don't present the result as a recording of a real person.

Acceptable use

Don't use TallyReel to make content that breaks the law, infringes other people's rights, or spreads misinformation presented as fact. We may deactivate licenses used to break these terms.

Third-party services

Some features use outside services (Pexels, Pollinations, Wikipedia, Lemon Squeezy, and model downloads from Hugging Face and GitHub). If you connect your own AI service or Chimepost account, your agreement with them covers that use, and anything they charge is between you and them. They have their own terms, and we can't guarantee they'll always be available.

No warranty

TallyReel is provided "as is". AI output can be wrong, and we don't guarantee that the app will be error-free or fit every purpose. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make a significant change, we'll update the date above.
