Refunds

If TallyReel doesn't work for you, ask within 14 days of the charge and we'll arrange a full refund. TallyReel is desktop video software: a one-time license of $49 (launch price; later $79), not a subscription and not a hosted generation plan. The pricing page is the price you were shown.

How to ask

Write to support@tallyreel.com or reply to your purchase email. Include the email you paid with. Refunds are processed through our payment provider or merchant of record, as applicable, back to the same payment method. How long that takes depends on your bank.

What a refund does

• You get back the amount you paid for the license, including any tax collected on that charge.
• The license key stops working. TallyReel checks the key in the background, so a refunded copy switches off even if the app stays installed.
• TallyReel Post Pro that came with the purchase stops with the license. There is no separate Post charge to refund, because it was included.
• Videos already on your computer stay yours. They remain there unless you explicitly sent one to TallyReel Post.

The free videos

The app lets you make 3 videos before you buy. Those aren't a charge, so there is nothing to refund. They keep a small "Made with TallyReel" mark until you buy.

After 14 days

After 14 days we don't owe a refund. If something is genuinely broken and we can't fix it, write anyway and we'll look at it. Where the law where you live gives you a longer right to cancel or a refund, that right still applies. These terms don't limit a right that can't be limited.

The rest of the agreement

The terms cover the license, what the software is, and acceptable use, including the ban on impersonating a real person. The privacy policy covers what leaves your computer. Questions go to the same address: support@tallyreel.com.
